Our award-winning, adults-only Caravan & Motorhome Club CL site is nestled on a tranquil small farm in the North Yorkshire countryside, near Skipwith, just 8 miles south of the historic City of York. Please visit our gallery page to view our shower and toilet facilities, as well as our grass and hard-standing pitches.
Caravan Site Features:
🌿 Spacious, level grass pitches – Grass is kept short and collected
💷 Inclusive pricing – Includes 2 adults, 1 vehicle & awning (please use breathable groundsheets for bookings over 2 nights)
🚫 Adult-only site – Exclusively for adults since January 2025
🚿 Facilities – A heated toilet block with a shower (coin-operated at 20p per minute) and toilet, as well as one non-heated room featuring a toilet and basin
🧼 New for 2025 – Washing-up area with hot water (20p per minute) and outdoor dog shower
🐶 Dog-friendly – Well-behaved dogs welcome (max 2 per pitch, must be kept on a lead)
🦴 Dog exercise area – A dedicated space for your furry friends
🚶♂️ Scenic walking routes – Walk from the CL site to Skipwith village, Skipwith Common, or The Drovers Arms (approx. 2 miles each way)
📅 Open all year round – Well-draining sandy land plus 3 hardstanding pitches
🏕️ Members only – Open exclusively to Caravan & Motorhome Club members
📶 Free Wi-Fi – Designed for general browsing and emails (fair usage policy applies). Recently upgraded to satellite broadband for better reliability, though rural connections may vary
⚡ 16amp Metered Electric Hook-Up – Please use low-wattage appliances and note that we are unable to charge electric vehicles
🛻 Hardstanding pitches available – 3 hardstanding pitches for caravans or motorhomes (up to 9m). Please select a hardstanding pitch when booking (subject to availability)
🚴♂️ Cycle-friendly location – A 10-minute drive to an off-road cycle track with food & drink stops along the way. The York Solar Cycle Track offers a flat, scenic & safe route into York
📱 Mobile phone signal – Reception may be limited in this rural area
💧 Essential amenities – Drinking water & grey waste disposal, Elsan disposal point, and recycling facilities
🛒 Mini shop – “Owt Tha 4Got” – Stocked with essentials and some handmade local items

Tariff
The CL site is open all year round and only open to members of the Caravan & Motorhome Club, proof of your membership number will be required. There is a minimum stay of 3 nights from 1st April until 30th September, to avoid disappointing those of you who wish to stay longer. If you require a shorter stay, please visit our website 1 month before your preferred date, when we will be releasing any available dates for booking. The tariff is as follows:
- 2025 Bookings – Our pitch prices are from £22 per pitch per night and additional charges as follows (note Adult Only):
- Electric – this is charged per KwH at the cost price (approx 23p per KwH)
- £2.50 per additional adult per night
- Coin operated luxury shower (takes 20p coins (20p per minute (80p recommended)). Note that the shower & information room have radiators which operate at certain times of day (info can be found in the shower room)
- *New for 2025*– washing up area and outdoor dog shower (20p per minute for warm water).

The map on the right shows you the layout of the CL site, we don’t mind which way round you pitch your caravan / motorhome / campervan. As you can see there is plenty of space and choice of pitches (shown as 1-9), there are only 5 vans on the CL site at any one time.
