Booking Terms & Site Guidelines for the Caravan & Motorhome Club CL Site

Caravan Site Booking Conditions

Payment

To secure your booking, a 20% deposit per pitch is required. We accept payments via BACS and Stripe (card payment)—details will be sent upon request. The remaining balance is due on the day of arrival (cash, card or BACS).

Booking Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your pitch.
  • The full balance must be paid on the day of arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking, the 20% deposit will be retained.
  • No refunds will be given for no-shows or reductions in stay after arrival.
  • In rare cases, we may need to alter or cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we’ll do our best to reschedule your stay, but no refunds will be provided.
  • All cancellations must be confirmed via email or letter.
  • We highly recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected issues like vehicle breakdowns, illness, or bad weather.
  • These terms may be updated as needed, and continuing to use the site means you agree to any changes.

CL Site Rules

To make sure everyone has a great time, please follow these simple rules:

🐾 Dogs – Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead due to nearby sheep and game birds.
🚗 Liability – We are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to visitors, personal belongings, or vehicles.
👶 Adults-Only Site – This is an adult-only site, and children are not permitted, including as day visitors.
🤫 Respect fellow caravaners – Please keep noise levels down before 8 AM and after 11 PM.
🏕️ Caravan Club Conditions – All bookings follow the standard certificate conditions of the Caravan & Motorhome Club.
🌿 Groundsheets – If staying for more than 2 nights, please use breathable groundsheets to help protect the grass.
⚽ No ball games on the CL site.
🔋 No electric car charging – Our power supply is limited, but the nearest charging point is at York Designer Outlet or Lidl at Selby.
🚫 Right to refuse entry – If a visitor’s behavior is disruptive, we reserve the right to ask them to leave.
♻️ Recycle, please! – Do your bit by recycling as much as possible and take large rubbish items home.
