Caravan Site Booking Conditions

Payment

To secure your booking, a 20% deposit per pitch is required. We accept payments via BACS and Stripe (card payment)—details will be sent upon request. The remaining balance is due on the day of arrival (cash, card or BACS).

Booking Terms

• A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your pitch.
• The full balance must be paid on the day of arrival.
• If you cancel your booking, the 20% deposit will be retained.
• No refunds will be given for no-shows or reductions in stay after arrival.
• In rare cases, we may need to alter or cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we’ll do our best to reschedule your stay, but no refunds will be provided.
• All cancellations must be confirmed via email or letter.
• We highly recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected issues like vehicle breakdowns, illness, or bad weather.
• These terms may be updated as needed, and continuing to use the site means you agree to any changes.

CL Site Rules

To help everyone enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay, we kindly ask that guests follow these simple guidelines:

• Adults-only (18+) – Our site is for guests aged 18 and over only.
• Dogs – Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead due to nearby sheep and game birds.
• Quiet times – Please keep noise to a minimum between 11pm and 8am.
• Respect the site – No ball games on the CL site.
• Electric vehicles – Charging is not available on-site due to supply limits. Nearby options include York Designer Outlet or Lidl.
• Waste & recycling – Please recycle where possible and take large items of waste home with you.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask guests to leave if behaviour is considered disruptive or unsuitable for the peaceful nature of the site.

Bookings are subject to the standard conditions of the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
